On Monday, March 2, we had the honor of hosting a small reception for attendees of the 3rd Annual USF National Student Success Conference. At the reception, Dr. George Kuh gave a short TED-style talk about the importance of Achieving Excellence & Equity in Student Success. Thanks to everyone who joined us for what turned out to be a great evening at the Knack office!
For those who couldn’t make it, here are a few of the night’s highlights…
Sonia Duraimurugan spoke about her experience as a Knack Tutor at USF.
Dr. George Kuh spoke about his work with NSSE, NILOA, HIPs, and Knack.
Dr. William “Bill” Hudson Jr. spoke about the early impact of Knack at FAMU.
We made a short video to recap the night.
The following day, Knack CEO Samyr Qureshi participated in a panel that was moderated by Dr. George Kuh, alongside Dr. William “Bill” Hudson Jr. and Dr. Angela Lindner, to discuss the power of educationally purposeful peer interactions.
We really enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about the incredible work being done by innovators at diverse institutions of higher education across the country. We have another panel lined up for the 2020 NASPA Annual Conference in Austin, TX at the end of March. We’d love to see all of you there!
