Senior Human Development major, Bio minor. Currently math tutor at Lone Star College; helpful with English & social sciences
Hi there! I’m a senior, Human Development & Family Studies major with Biology minor with a passion for understanding, empathizing, and helping others and aspiring to become an Osteopathic Medical doctor. I was degreed in 2017 with my Honors Associate of Science at Lone Star College. I am currently a math tutor at LSC (from Developmental Math to Statistics & Precalculus). I have participated in a research internship at Rice Univ. on embryonic stem cells, and now am in route towards a new internship opportunity at Univ. of Houston. Along with math, I am also willing to help with English I & II and many social sciences/psychology for that is what much of my major focuses on. I can’t wait to help you feel more confident in your work and in yourself. Happy learning! • Over a year of tutoring experience • Current PT Math tutor at Lone Star College • Research Intern at Rice University (2016) As much as I am passionate and driven towards becoming a physician, I am also a lover of writing. I was a student journalist from high school through my sophomore year in college, when I started and built LSC-Kingwood’s student-run newspaper The Howler as its founding Editor-in-Chief. I am also working on starting an editing service as well as a blog.
• Fridays after 3pm • All weekend (If other certain days work best, we can discuss working with those as well to better cater to your needs.)
