Doctoral Candidate in Pure Mathematics. Taught, TA'd and tutored various mathematics courses for over 8 years.
Hey! I'm a graduate student at UNLV studying descriptive set theory. I have a 3.94 GPA and working to finish my dissertation. My goal is to become a professor of mathematics. For the last 8 years I have been teaching and TA'ing University math courses ranging from college algebra and precalculus through discrete mathematics and differential equations. I really enjoy helping people learn and understand mathematics, and making what may seem like difficult material at first much simplier and easier to understand. Send me a message so we can set up a time to meet! Graduate Assistant and Part Time Instructor in mathematics for the past 8 years at UNLV. Have taught MATH 96, 126, 127, 251, 283 and 431. I've also TA'd for MATH 182, 251, 283, 351, 427, 428, 453/653, 454/654. I've also tutored students in various other college mathematics courses. Though teaching and tutoring I've learned to be patient and also how to make material easier to learn/understand. I also recognize many of the areas which students have the most trouble with and enjoy making these problem areas easier to learn/grasp. I'm always looking to help students understand mathematics material and do better in their courses, so send me a message if you're interested! Hope to hear from you soon! I graduated from UConn with a BS in Mathematics and French. I really enjoy paper crafts and building things.
I tend to be very flexible, and can work with you to find a time that works, either during the week or on the weekends. (Only available to tutor at my home until Friday 7 September 2018 due to a broken ankle, will be able to travel after that date)
