I am a PhD student in Industrial Engineering and have my B.S. in Mathematical Sciences. 8 semesters of teaching experience.
Currently a 4th year PhD student in Industrial Engineering with a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences and a M.S. in Statistics and Operations Research. I have had 8 semester of experience as a TA and for calculus, probability, and simulation. Currently mentor 6 undergraduates as part of my research projects at Pitt. My teaching philosphy is based on giving students experience and confidence so that they can tackle any problem presented to them on a class assignment or during an exam. Was a teaching assistant for 8 semester for calculus, probability, and simulation. My current goal is to join academia. I believe an important part of academia is teaching and I love seeing students learn.
Available evenings and weekends for tutoring.
