Jamal K.

Undergrad math major; graduate finance student; 3 years of consulting experience at top firms.

Biography

I am currently a graduate student at Columbia Business School studying Financial Economics. I have more than 3 years of experience working as a financial consultant at top firms, focusing on data analytics and quantitative research. I graduated from Brandies University summa cum laude in 2014 with a major in Mathematics and minors in Computer Science, Economics and Philosophy. I have a knack for Math, Finance, Econ, and pretty much anything quant, and am eager to learn, teach and collaborate. After graduating from college, I worked at Cornerstone Research for three years as a consultant on corporate lawsuits involving complex financial and economic issues. I have also worked at Deloitte and PricewaterhouseCoopers, and held teaching assistant positions for undergraduate courses in Linear Algebra and Multivariable Calculus. I love street photography, traveling, discovering amazing cafes, engaging in meaningful conversations, and swimming.
